I can't resist uploading Uli's picture here - he looks so happy with his ice cream! Морожение or ice cream is very popular here. Vendors are selling it on the streets and nearly every park. It's a delicious treat on these hot days (it's been in the upper 30s in Celsius and lower 100s in Fahrenheit!), and it's cheap at only $1 a cone. Ice cream could become a staple of our summer diets in Central Asia.
This is an aimless blog that gives voices to small joys, quirky happenstances, everyday occurrences, and occasional pesterings as the author navigates her life paths as an educator, transplanted Wyomingite, traveler, and curiosity seeker.
